Descriptions of cold press oil machine Caliber 110

There are two methods of extracting oil from oilseeds:

1- hot pressed oil

2- cold-pressed oil

In brief, Hot-pressed oil means that the oilseeds are roasted and pressed under high temperatures.  But, this method is for industrial companies. However, cold-pressed oil means that the oilseeds are raw and pressed at a low temperature, under 43 degrees centigrade; so that the beneficial compounds are retained. Hence, this method is the healthiest way to make herbal oils.

Isfahan Osveh Sanat Company manufactures and distributes oil press machines that come in varieties of power, capacity, and dimension. In fact, Osveh Oil Press Machines are capable of extracting oils from both soft and hard seeds such as sesame, sunflower seeds (with and without shell), flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut milk powder, fennel, bitter almond, sweet almond, hazelnut, argan, opium poppy, caraway, fennel flower, rapeseed, pistachio, walnut, grapeseed or pomegranate seed. Moreover, Osveh Oil Press Machines are easy to operate, and low in noise.

Above all, all types of Osveh Oil Press Machines have 1 year guarantee 5-year after-sales services.

Stuff you should know about the oil seeds before oil extraction process:

– Dampen the oil seeds that are products over a year ago.

– During the coconut oil extraction process, if the press cake is greasy, fasten the ball screw firmly.

– Dampen the almonds a day before oil extraction and cover them with cloth.

– dampen the hemp seeds two times in a row. For the first time, dampen the seeds 2% a day before the oil extraction process and stir them with hand (since the seeds are glossy and absorbs moisture gradually. Hence, dampen the hemp seeds and stir them gradually so that the seeds draw up the moisture. Then cover the chamber to hold moisture in the seeds). The second time, dampen the seeds 1% the day after; this time you do not have to cover the chamber. You can start the oil extraction process after two hours.

– Remember that excessive moisture in sunflower seeds with shells makes the oil bitter. Be careful in dampening them.

– In addition, sunflower oil must be separated from its pulp within 3 days; otherwise the oil will get bitter.

– In order for preventing the sunflower oil from getting bitter:

1- Reduce the moisture.

2- Separate oil from its pulp as soon as possible (at last within 3 days)

note

– Sesame oil must be golden. If the extracted oil seems to be green, it means that you must destone the sesame once again.

– Please do not dampen the fennel and caraway directly, since the seeds inflate if they are exposed to the moisture. Hence, they will be stuck in the screw.

– If press cake remains in the machine overnight, untie the nozzle, raise the temperature of the machine so that the press cake smoothen and are easily let out.

– Remember that fresh sesame needs less moisture. However, if they draw in excess moisture:

1- The machine begins making a whistling noise.

2- The more greasy press cake will be let out, and the less oil is extracted.

3- The oil quality suffers.

– When it comes to almond, suffice with dampening their skins. The damped skins give the almonds a smooth texture. If there is excess moisture in almonds:

1- There will be a lot of pulp in the extracted oil.

2- The seeds will not be ground properly and exit from the press cake outlet.

note

– If the amount of oil pulp is abnormal, there must be two reasons: there is either excess or no moisture in the seeds.

– If there is excess moisture in sunflower seeds and flaxseeds, the extracted oil will be covered in foam.

– Pistacia atlantica must be sieved. It needs very little moisture.

– In order for extracting almond oil, rotate the ball screw midway and after a few minutes unscrew the ball screw a quarter way (hazelnuts, flaxseeds, pistacia atlantica, sunflower seeds with shell).

If the seeds are the products of the last year, dampen them the night before the oil extraction process. 2 hours before the process, dampen the seeds again (this time very little moisture is enough). While extracting oil from coconuts, loosen the ball screw; otherwise, the temperature will go up and the burning smell will come from the press cake.

– The more press cake piles up, the more you must unscrew the ball screw. While extracting oil from coconut, unscrew the ball screw completely.

How to operate the machine:

First, adjust the ball screw. Then fasten the element. Fasten the thermocable or the temperature sensor. Adjust the thermostat. The machine is ready to operate. Turn on the element switch. After that, the red light turns on. Please wait till the temperature turns to 100 degrees. Pour the seeds into the hopper and adjust the engine speed (15-25).

Please make sure the element digital indicator shows the temperature at 100 degrees centigrade, so that the press cake can be let out.

2 minutes after the oil extraction process, please check out if the press cake is soft or coarse. If it is turned to fie powder by rubbing your together, switch off the machine, reverse the engine speed for 5 seconds, loosen the ball screw nut and fasten the ball screw less than the quarter-way rotation.

Fasten the nut again, switch on the machine and keep on working with the machine.

If any seed is stuck into the screw or the cylinder and causes problem in oil extraction process, turn around the switch to the left for 3 seconds, so that the stuck seeds will pass through the cylinder. Then again turn around the switch to the right.

Please note that the electrical control panels of cold oil press machines caliber 40, 60, 90, and 110 are the same. The caliber 110 is different in terms of taking apart and assembling its ball screw.

How to Switch Off the Cold Press Oil Machine Caliber 110

Please let all the materials such as oil and press cake out. Turn off the element and switch off the machine.

Caliber 60 vs. Caliber 110

1- The ball screw in cold oil press machine caliber 110 is a single nut which must be tightened and loosened when fastening and untying the ball screw.

2- The element and the nut in caliber 110 are buckled together by means of a metal flat, unlike caliber 60 in which the element and the nut are buckled inside the oil outlet.

(Due to the heavy components of the machine, take apart and assemble the machine with the help of someone else).
