While assembling the machine, make sure there are not any sesame seeds or oil cake between the parts of the machine (especially between the blade and the nozzle); otherwise, the oil will be leaking from different parts of the machine and preventing water stops from leaking. Having taken apart and assembled the machines, please clean all parts. It is necessary that there not be any oil cake or seeds between the components of each machine:

Take apart the components from the outside to the inside:

1. Open the nozzle makerbot by turning the knob anticlockwise.

Nozzle makerbot: is a nut in which nozzle is placed and is connected to the ball screw through a peephole (Bear in mind that the larger part of the nozzle should be placed inside the machine.

Nozzle: is a part from which the oil cake is let out like a shape of a bar or a cone. One side of the nozzle is looser than the other side; and the larger mouth of the nozzle is connected to the head of the screw (from inside the machine).

2. Open the ball screw by turning it anticlockwise.

Ball screw: is a flat device including 2 nuts that are stuck together like 2 discs. The first disc (the rear nut) is mobile and fastened to the machine. It is responsible for fixing the ball screw. Fasten the ball screw tightly before operating the machine; then loosen it half-way anticlockwise gradually. The second disc is stable and larger.

The round part of the ball screw is inside and connected to the outer round part of the screw. By adjusting the distance between these two parts, the oil is made from different kinds of seeds (softness and hardness of the press cake).

It is worth noting that when the ball screw is fastened, loosen it half-way to keep 1mm distance from the screw. The distance and the rotation is different for different kinds of seeds.

The ball screw hole is the press cake outlet.

Open the stuck disc by means of a collet chuck wrench. After that, open the outer disc (stable nut) completely by a wrench and pull out the whole nut.

1. Untie the thermocable.

2. Untie the element (exercise caution while opening the element because it may be hot).

3. Untie the nut.

Nut: a flat that has grooves at the opposite ends; one end is fastened to the head of the screw; and to the other end, the ball screw is fastened inside. The element and the temperature sensor is installed on the nut. The element is responsible for heating the press cake up and easing the way for letting them out.

4. Pull out the blade.

Blade: this piece of equipment is responsible for grinding seeds.

The seeds are ground before they reach to the round part connected to the head of the screw. The cylindrical blade is placed inside the top part of the cylinder (the outer part is circular and the inner part is octagonal due to the shape of the blades). This equipment is the chief part of the machine.

5. Then pull out the screw.

Screw: is a spiral bar that presses through the cylinder and the vase. It is placed inside the square dent of the gearbox at the end of the screw by means of a square jag that spin-transfers the torque.

It also presses against the oil seeds. The blade extracts the oil from the seeds and then the press cake is let out. There is a jag mounted at the end of the screw that must be fixed in the jag position in the vase.

6. Untie the cylinder by turning it clockwise and clean it with water and detergent. Dry the components right away.

Cylinder: is a meshy equipment that is mounted to the vase and the nut from both ends. The oil is extracted from the holes of the cylinder.

Make sure that the press cake is not piled up in the cylinder. Having the press cake piled up, the screw will be cut and the cylinder will separate from the vase.

If the cylinder holes clogged, remove the particles lodged in the mesh with the help of a needle, and then clean it by means of an air pump.

Vase: is connected to gear box at one end and to the cylinder at the other end. The hopper is mounted on the vase.

Before taking apart and cleaning the machine, please make sure you have unplugged the machine.
