Caution 1- ensure the jag is put right in the middle of the T-shaped metal after the cleaning process.
Caution 2- peel and toast the sesame seeds for tahini.
Caution 3- the sesame seeds must not be so much high in fat. Seeds that are high in fat are shiny and not useful for tahini. Because these sorts of seeds are sticky and do not get out of the bottleneck.
Caution 4- ensure you clean the machine after the grinding process. Otherwise, the seeds clog the grooves and will be hardened after a while. In this case, you will have difficulties for the next time use.
Caution 5- pour the seeds into the hopper little by little when the machine has just started working.
When 20 kg sesame seeds are poured into the hopper, the grooves are water stopped and you can fill out the hoppers completely.
Caution 6- the grooves are vacant when the machine has just started working, so if you pour the seeds in to the hopper abruptly, the grooves will remain vacant and the seeds will not be ground.
Caution 7- if the tahini produced is less than expected, clean the machine. If it did not work out, the grooves need to be turned.
Caution 8- if the machine makes noise, lubricate the T-shaped metal with sesame oil.
Safety Instructions:
– move the upper millstone by means of a lever before operating the machine to make sure stones are not stuck together.
– ensure there is not any seed in the machine when the tahini grinding process is finished. Switch off the machine 30 seconds after the last drop of tahini is out.
– If the machine gives off burnt sesame seed smell and the stone makes noise, you can add some sesame oil.
– if the machine made a noise without any reason, lift the T-shaped metal and turn it 90 degrees to place it in its right position. Then lubricate the T-shaped metal.
– If the machine is on but the stone does not rotate, it means that the jag is dislocated. Pull out the T-shaped metal and place the jag in its right position.
– If the stones rotate slowly, here are two tips:
1. Release the upper millstone by lifting the T-shaped metal.
2. Pour some sesame oil into the sesame chamber.
