- Dampen the oil seeds that are the products of a year ago.
- During the coconut oil extraction process, if the press cake is greasy, fasten the ball screw firmly.
- Dampen the almonds a day before oil extraction and cover them with cloth.
- dampen the hemp seeds two times in a row. For the first time, dampen the seeds 2% a day before the oil extraction process and stir them with hand (since the seeds are glossy and absorbs moisture gradually. Hence, dampen the hemp seeds and stir them gradually so that the seeds draw up the moisture. Then cover the chamber to hold moisture in the seeds). The second time, dampen the seeds 1% the day after; this time you do not have to cover the chamber. You can start the oil extraction process after two hours.
- Remember that excessive moisture in sunflower seeds with shells makes the oil bitter. Be careful in dampening them.
- In addition, sunflower oil must be separated from its pulp within 3 days; otherwise the oil will get bitter.
- In order for preventing the sunflower oil from getting bitter:
1- Reduce the moisture.
2- Separate oil from its pulp as soon as possible (at last within 3 days)
- Sesame oil must be golden. If the extracted oil seems to be green, it means that you must destone the sesame once again.
- Please do not dampen the fennel and caraway directly, since the seeds inflate if they are exposed to the moisture. Hence, they will be stuck in the screw.
- If press cake remains in the machine overnight, untie the nozzle, raise the temperature of the machine so that the press cake smoothen and are easily let out.
- Remember that fresh sesame needs less moisture. However, if they draw in excess moisture:
1- The machine begins making a whistling noise.
2- The more greasy press cake will be let out, and the less oil is extracted.
3- The oil quality suffers.
- When it comes to almond, suffice with dampening their skins. The damped skins give the almonds a smooth texture. If there is excess moisture in almonds:
1- There will be a lot of pulp in the extracted oil.
2- The seeds will not be ground properly and exit from the press cake outlet.
- If the amount of oil pulp is abnormal, there must be two reasons: there is either excess or no moisture in the seeds.
- If there is excess moisture in sunflower seeds and flaxseeds, the extracted oil will be covered in foam.
- Pistacia atlantica must be sieved. It needs very little moisture.
- In order for extracting almond oil, rotate the ball screw midway and after a few minutes unscrew the ball screw a quarter way (hazelnuts, flaxseeds, pistacia atlantica, sunflower seeds with shell).
- If the nozzle 12 did not work, untie the nozzle and fasten the ball screw on the head of the screw a quarter way.
- If one of nozzles did not work with the machine, try the nozzle with the larger number. Be careful not to use nozzle for extracting oil from coconut.
- If the seeds are the products of the last year, dampen them the night before the oil extraction process. 2 hours before the process, dampen the seeds again (this time very little moisture is enough). While extracting oil from coconuts, loosen the ball screw; otherwise, the temperature will go up and the burning smell will come from the press cake.
- The more press cake piles up, the more you must unscrew the ball screw. While extracting oil from coconut, unscrew the ball screw completely.
